During the month of January the fifth grade class at St. Martin of Tours Academy has been focused on Kindness and Compassion in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. During religion lessons, they have discussed and implemented the attributes and perseverance that Dr. King represented.  Students have dedicated themselves to the challenge that Dr. King outlined, which is to improve the world around us by standing up for what is right and demonstrating acts of kindness.  As active Christians, we adhere to these precepts throughout our daily lives both in and out of the classroom as we practice honesty, respect, courage and tolerance.
