On Saturday, September 1, 2018 some students and families of Nazareth School shared their Christian service and leadership by cleaning up the Veteran Memorial in Grape Day Park, Escondido.  The memorial honors past, present and future veterans. This is the second year that Nazareth School has been involved in this monthly project, thanks to sixth-grade teacher Mr. Anthony Maffini, a veteran himself.  After the clean-up, the students and families enjoyed breakfast and fellowship at the Golden Egg Omelet House.
