At Santa Sophia Academy, Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is a fantastic full day of school for students who are not yet 5 years of age by September 1.
Students who have had 2 or more years of preschool, are born between September 2013 and December 2013, and are ready for something a bit different, a different curriculum, and a full school day here at the “big school” and all that entails – well, this is the perfect program for you!
TK is geared for students who might otherwise have a third or fourth year in preschool or a first year in an early Kindergarten program and want something more developmentally appropriate to this “younger“ child’s needs.
We’d love to share all about our plans for this great program and invite you to check us out at our Prospective Parent Meeting for TK on Tuesday, February 6, at 6:30 PM in the TK room and/or to come for a tour on a school day. Invite your friends to ask us about this aspect of our program, too. It has been a GRAND success this year and we can’t wait to continue this wonderful addition to our school into next year!
